EBOLA ~ Infernal Revelation (2007)

Never has a band's name suited their brand of music as much as Poland's Ebola. Highly infectious, blackened death/grind who's ferocity can likely cause  hemorrhaging from the ears. 'Infernal Revelation' is an album packed with blistering barbarity, shortish songs that flay without mercy, with searing solo's that pour salt into the wounds.

You can get the album digitally on Bandcamp and the vinyl through Rex Diaboli Death Syndicate

VISION DEPRIVED ~ Self Elevating, Deep Inside The Void (2023)

Unsettling Italian death metal that spits and snarls in your face in an unrelenting, frenzied attack. The riffs just keep coming, charged with adrenaline, like a serial killer stalking his next kill. Self Elevating, Deep Inside The Void, hurtles from one toxic tempo to another with crust armoured grind vying with mid paced crunch in a withering dance of ferocious extremity.

CHEMICAL CRUCIFIXION ~ Chemical Crucifixion ( 2022 )

When a band consists of members that have (dis)graced the likes of Iron Monkey, Cerebral Fix, Ravens Creed and Fistula, you can be sure that this self titled album by Chemical Crucifixion is devoid of any comfort zone. If you manage to survive floods of pestilent grind, you'll eventually be dragged under by surges of  pock marked sludge, to be drowned in decaying breakdowns that have metastasized like tumours throughout. Chemical Crucifixion is bitter, hateful and no respecter of reputations evidenced by the bands tortured take on Celtic Frost's 'Cherry Orchards.' That great riff is still recognizable but mauled and tarnished into submission.

HUMAN HARVEST ~ Flesh Sermons (2022)

Listen to any album featuring Jonny Pettersson and Jon Rudin of  Wombbath among many others, and you can be pretty certain that your eardrums are in for a harrowing test of endurance. Thankfully, the gruesome twosome's latest incarnation Human Harvest doesn't disappoint. Flesh Sermons is a merciless abominate of mutated grind and Swedish death metal. The duo's utter disdain of the Human Race permeates every garrotted chord struck and drumhead demolished, spattered by gargolyan bile spewed from Petterssons throat. Its a thoroughly savage, relentless album made great by the many breakdowns that steamroll right through your head. These aren't your usual breakdowns where everything slows down into chunks of riffery, instead the tracks accelerate to insane velocity without losing their mass of  bloodied matter.

Prepare to be culled!

CONSUMPTION ~ Recursive Definitions of Suppuration (2021)

Any band that includes Håkan Stuvemark ( Wombbath) is going to have a particularly gruesome edge to it and Swedish duo Consumption doesn't disappoint.

'Recursive Definitions of Suppuration' the band's debut, now available in 180 gram vinyl format, is a blood spatter analysis of the carnage left behind by the likes of Carcass and Autopsy. The sound isn't as murky which means the bloodletting caused by the eleven tracks of macabre sounding deathgrind on the album are more indiscriminate in their butchery of the ears. I'm not sure if Håkan Stuvemark is solely responsible for the vocal delivery here, if he is then many demons must inhabit his body because they are pretty varied, none pleasant, but not too extreme either, while the manic drumming of Jon Skäre gives depth to the grind, elevating it to death metal intensity and depth.

This is the soundtrack to your own post - mortem.

TARPAN~ Ведьма (Witch) [ep] 2019

Take the Swedish 'death metal sound' mutate it with a weeping sore like crust and infect it with grind and there you have Russia's Tarpan. For added pain add a hint of doom here and there. The riffs from this band growl and snap at anything brave enough to step nearby, nothing can placate TARPAN, you'll end up getting steamrollered whatever happens. ~ DEATHRATTLE PODCAST
